Course Description
The life of every worker is valuable. However, due to negligence and inadequate safety measures, thousands of construction workers lose their lives each year. OSHA requires employers to protect workers from hazards through engineering and administrative controls whenever possible. When those controls are not feasible, employers must provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
This course provides a foundational understanding of OSHA’s role in preventing workplace injuries and fatalities, emphasizing the importance of hazard assessment and PPE selection, use, and maintenance.
