Course Description
The OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training program is a comprehensive safety course designed for safety directors, foremen, field supervisors, and other personnel responsible for workplace safety in general industry settings.
It provides an extensive overview of OSHA standards under 29 CFR 1910 and focuses on hazard recognition, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course serves as an orientation to occupational safety and health, helping employers and employees comply with OSHA regulations and reduce workplace incidents.
Upon completion, participants receive an upgraded durable plastic DOL wallet card—easy to carry, tear-resistant, and credit-card sized—shipped within two weeks.
Course Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Understand the OSH Act, OSHA’s functions, and available resources.
Explain OSHA inspection priorities and the inspection process.
Recognize employer and employee rights and responsibilities under the OSH Act.
