Course Overview
The 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Initial Training is required for supervisors and managers overseeing hazardous waste operations or emergency response activities. This course fulfills Federal OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4) for General Industry and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(4) for Construction, as well as equivalent EPA and state OSHA requirements.
Supervisors completing this training will be equipped to manage safety programs, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and lead teams working with or around hazardous substances. The course provides both leadership training and technical knowledge to protect workers, the public, and the environment.
