Course Description
The OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program delivered by Fortier Loss Control is designed for entry-level construction workers who need foundational knowledge of workplace safety specific to the construction sector.
This course covers:
Hazard Recognition
Hazard Avoidance
Hazard Abatement
Hazard Prevention
In addition to construction-specific hazards, students will learn about OSHA policies, employer responsibilities, and worker rights. OSHA recommends this Outreach Training Program as a safety orientation to reduce injuries, save lives, and meet compliance expectations. Additional site-specific training is required for hazards not covered in this course.
Students are automatically upgraded to receive a durable plastic DOL wallet card—tear-resistant, credit card–sized, and easier to carry—which will be mailed within 2 weeks of successful course completion.
Course Objectives
