This course is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training focuses on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Required topics include Introduction to OSHA, Focus Four (falls, electrocution, struck-by, and caught-in or between), Managing Safety & Health, PPE, Health Hazards, Stairways & Ladders, and elective topics. Elective topics are chosen depending upon trainer’s choice and relevancy to the attendee’s type of construction work. This course requires the successful completion of a test to confirm knowledge on subject matter.
