Duration: 8 Hour(s) Language: English
This specialized workshop prepares construction personnel to effectively respond to common job site emergencies before professional help arrives.
You’ll learn practical response techniques for construction-specific scenarios including falls, structural collapses, equipment accidents, and electrical incidents. Through hands-on simulations, participants will develop confidence in applying first aid, using emergency equipment, and implementing evacuation procedures unique to active construction sites.
Who Should Attend the Fortier Emergency Responder Workshop?
This workshop is essential for site supervisors, safety managers, foremen, and designated emergency response team members at construction companies. We recommend having at least two trained emergency responders for every work crew or construction site.
CERTIFICATION
Participants who complete the full workshop and pass the skills assessment will receive the Fortier Construction Site Emergency Responder Certification, recognized by major construction associations and helping companies meet OSHA compliance requirements.
Your certification will be valid for two (2) years from the date of completion, after which recertification is required to maintain compliance with current safety standards and emergency protocols.
All participants will receive digital certificates immediately following successful completion, with wallet cards and certificates for company records mailed within 5 business days.
